Limoncello cream


There limoncello cream it is a typical southern liqueur that can be easily prepared at home due to its extreme ease in producing it. The main ingredient to make the limoncello cream it is the lemon that must necessarily be untreated. If you have relatives or friends with lemon trees, take advantage of them otherwise rely on organic lemons as they come from 100% natural agriculture. Below you will find the recipe for limoncello cream.

Limoncello cream, the ingredients
1 liter of alcohol for food
10 organic or untreated lemons
500 ml of organic semi-skimmed milk
500 ml of cream
1 kg of granulated sugar
1 sachet of vanilla

Limoncello cream, the preparation

  1. Carefully wash the lemons in cold water
  2. Peel the yellow part of the lemon carefully excluding the white part as it is bitter and would compromise the final result
  3. Place the lemon peels in a hermetically sealed glass container
  4. Pour in the alcohol and close the container tightly, leaving it to macerate for a month in a dark place away from humidity
  5. After the month has passed, move on to the next step which consists of filtering the flavored alcohol into another container
  6. Take a saucepan and pour the milk
  7. While it cooks, pour in the vanilla and wait for it to come to a boil
  8. As soon as the milk boils, pour the cream slowly, stirring with a spoon
  9. Let it cook for another 2 minutes then add all the sugar and mix until it dissolves well: make sure there are no lumps of sugar, in which case you will still have to mix on the fire
  10. Then turn off the heat and let it cool
  11. Once the mixture has cooled, add it to the previously filtered alcohol
  12. Stir and pour the limoncello cream into the bottles
  13. Store in the freezer and wait at least 15 days before you can taste thelimoncello cream
  14. When serving, shake the bottle well
