Almond nougat, preparation

Before proceeding with the preparation of the almond nougat, you must make sure that the coconut oil is in a liquid state. If the oil is at a temperature below 25 degrees, you will find it solid! You will therefore have to heat it in a double boiler or use your microwave to melt it. Attention, you must never boil it otherwise you risk losing most of its properties.

  1. Once the oil is liquid, pour it into a saucepan and add the liquid stevia
  2. Pour in the chopped almonds and mix everything together
  3. When the mixture appears homogeneous, transfer it to a silicone mold or a small tray
  4. Cover the mold with cling film then put it in the fridge. The coconut oil will allow it to solidify, so the nougat will become a whole piece of nougat
  5. After an hour, it will be possible to serve and consume the homemade almond nougat
